Calico Wildlife & Photo Guidesの冬

2026年〜2027年シーズンのCalico Wildlife & Photo Guidesのガイドは2026年12月からスタートする予定です。おおおよそ2027年3月いっぱいまでフィールドを駆け回ります！十勝の大自然の中でモモンガ、キタキツネ、エゾリスなどの野生動物やシマエナガ、クマゲラ、エゾフクロウなどの野鳥との出会いと撮影をサポートさせていただきます。

北海道・十勝の12月から3月といえば冬真っ盛り。はっきり言って寒いです。風が吹くと痛いです。…でもそんな中で出会うエゾモモンガやシマエナガとの時間は寒さを忘れるくらいに素晴らしい体験です。ぜひご一緒しましょう！

今シーズンはどんな冬になるのかな？モモンガたちは元気にしているだろうか？ 11月から始まるリサーチという名の森林歩きがいまから楽しみです。

The 2026–2027 guiding season at Calico Wildlife & Photo Guides will begin in December 2026 and run through late March 2027. I look forward to supporting your wildlife observation and photography in the vast natural beauty of Tokachi—guiding you to encounter Siberian flying squirrels, Ezo red foxes, Ezo red squirrels, as well as wild birds like Long-tailed Tits, Black Woodpeckers, and Ural Owls.

Winter here in Tokachi is genuine deep winter. It is undeniably cold, and the wind can feel freezing. However, the moment you spend observing wild flying squirrels or Long-tailed Tits in this environment is truly magical—enough to make you forget the cold entirely. I hope you will join me on the field!

I wonder what kind of winter awaits us this year, and how our local wildlife is doing. I’m already looking forward to November, when I’ll begin exploring the forests again for pre-season research.
