北海道・十勝のシマエナガ

ゲストからの撮影リクエストでエゾモモンガに次いで多いのが「シマエナガ」です。
ジュルジュル鳴いてパタパタ飛んでたまにカメラ目線、、、納得の可愛さ。誰もが目を奪われていく、君は完璧で究極のアイドル！YOASOBIの名曲はきっとシマエナガの歌だと思います。(推測)

そんなシマエナガ、実は出会うだけなら意外と簡単。でもひとたび撮影となると全然可愛くありません(笑)

…小さい、素早い、遠いの三重苦。上手に撮影するにはいくつかのポイントがあるのです。機材、タイミング、ポジション、何より運も必要。シマエナガ撮影の前には充分に徳を積んでおきましょう。詳しくはガイドの時でもお話しさせてください。

Right behind Siberian flying squirrels, the Long-tailed Tit is the single most requested shot from my guests.

With their buzzy little chirps, fluttering wings, and occasional direct eye-contact with the lens… their cuteness is off the charts. Everyone gets completely hypnotized. “You are the flawless, ultimate idol!”—I’m pretty sure YOASOBI’s hit song Idol was written about them. (Just a hunch.)

Here’s the catch: simply spotting a Long-tailed Tit is surprisingly easy. But photographing one? Absolutely brutal!

You’re up against the lethal trio: tiny, ridiculously fast, and way up in the canopy. Getting a good frame takes a solid checklist—the right gear, precise timing, sharp positioning, and above all, pure luck. Better rack up some good karma before your shoot!
